Who wakes up at 6:30am on a Saturday on purpose? I do. I needed to get my long bike ride in for the week, however Deni had something at 9:00am, so I woke up early in an attempt to get back before she left.
I left just after 7am and rode out of Spanish Fork heading towards West Mountain (that's the mountain just south and west of Utah Lake ). Once I got to the base of West Mountain, I turned South and heading through West Payson, Genola and then finally turning east and heading into Santaquin. I then headed North going through Payson, Salem and the back home to Spanish Fork.
All in all, I did 40.78 miles in 2 hours and 12 minutes. Amazingly, I felt quite good on the ride and averaged about 18.5 miles per hour.
